Maisy likes going to preschool. She gets to see her friends and participate in great activities such as painting and listening to stories.
The Maisy books are an excellent way to introduce children to new experiences which might otherwise make them feel nervous. The naïve illustrations are backed with primary colours that promote happy feelings. Even the font, which is rather like slightly untidy handwritten printing, has a friendly feel. Maisy and her friends promote positive values such as taking turns, sharing, being polite and good hygiene, without being preachy or particularly contrived.
