Annie is a girl of strong personality and determination. So when she finds someone sitting in her special chair...! No one sits in Annie's chair.
It has been her chair since she was a baby. In it she dreams, plays, or just sits and thinks. When her dog, Benny, takes over her chair, Annie is furious and goes through a range of increasingly funny tactics to kick him off.
The predominantly water colour, mixed media illustrations, are scattered over the double pages, leading the reader through the text and off the page. Brightly coloured, vibrant, cheerful - they capture Annie's bold personality superbly.
Great fun.
