Sometimes learning to share with a younger sibling or a friend can be a bit of a trial. But as this big sister learns, there are some positives as well. Soon big sister is sharing everything with her baby brother – including some things that end up getting baby in just as much of a mess as big sister's precious teddy!

Birkett's illustrations are simple but clearly show big sister's annoyance at sharing as well as her 'mischievous' sharing (painting, food baby brother can't eat, her cup that he can't drink from etc), capturing exactly the dynamics of sibling relationships. Simmon's text flows smoothly but has a rhythm and internal rhyme that make it great to read aloud.
