This wonderful collection of action poems from Meredith Costain just begs to be read aloud.

Children (and adults) will love the dancing feel of the rhyming lines, packed with delicious sounds and invented words. Onomatopoeia abounds and teachers will be delighted with the number of word families and letter/sound combinations the poems reinforce.
